A Holiday Note of Gratitude
December 7, 2021

Dear Friends,
During the holiday season we are reminded of the power of personal connection. Those of us who are blessed to enjoy the tradition of reconnecting with family and friends find our spirits renewed, even as we honor the memory of those who are not with us to join in the celebration.
For our nation's combat veterans the holidays can be a challenging time - thinking about the empty seats at the table - the parents, siblings, sons and daughters who have given their lives in service to our country. This is when we lean on one another, and this is when the impact of our mission is most pronounced.

The mission of the Warrior Reunion Foundation is to reunite, remember, and renew those unique bonds formed in the cauldron of combat.
Last year, many veterans and Gold Star Families felt more isolated and alone than ever before. The exit from Afghanistan this past August motivated many veterans to reach out and check on their brothers and sisters in arms.
In 2021 Warrior Reunion Foundation hosted 11 reunions, bringing together over 400 veterans and Gold Star Families. Each unit joined together in activities centered upon our three pillars: Camaraderie, Wellness and Community Service. They honored their fallen, reignited their warrior spirit, and reaffirmed their commitment to serving others, None of this would be possible without the generosity of supporters like you. Thank you for believing in our mission and for your trust. We are honored you are a part of the WRF family.
With respect and gratitude,
James Ferguson, CEO + Founder
